We love magical, ethereal beauty that’s not afraid to take a chance.

How can a bride be sparkly, yet sophisticated? Start by applying a super-refined eyeshadow over a lid primer to maintain its dazzle without a single speck of chunky glitter over-powering your look. I like Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance. You can mix it with loose pigments to create cream shadows that can be blended out with your finger or synthetic brush. Some of the newer shadows have microfine bits of iridescent sparkle that will give you an effect that’s out of this world. These type shadows tend to feel like a cream but they goes on like a powder to create a smooth, brilliantly reflective look. The result is sexy, twinkling sparkle with a ton of depth and movement.  NYCs sparkle eye dust in golden champagne is a perfect choice for brides!  Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Emerville is a classic golden, peach shimmer. It makes a lovely wash all over the lids. Pro Tip: For sultry, smokey eyes, add a light shade to the inner corner of the eyelid and blend a darker shade over the outer corner. Remember to apply very sparingly and work into the skin like you would a moisturizer.

Makeup this season is all about creating a veil of sheer hues in order to give a glowing, light-reflective finish. One of the best trends from New York Fashion Week Fall 2015 was Kendall Jenner’s super pale makeup seen at the Marc Jacobs fashion show runway. Love her intense, dreamy hues and lush lip color!

“Because the lips are so important and intense, it’s important to balance and do something that’s not too obvious, cosmetic, traditional, or commercial.” – François Nars
