Bridal Hair & Makeup Inspired by Victoria’s Secret Angels
Hey bridal angels! If you watched the sexiest night on television, the 18th Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, that aired on December 10th, and you are totally inspired by the model’s big hair, sultry makeup and shimmery body looks for your own wedding, then read on to see how to create an ethereal angel look all your own!
MAKEUP
To create your sexy smoldering look begin by maximizing the intensity, longevity and brilliance of your eye shadow statement with a shimmery eyeshadow primer.
Primer helps eyeshadow stay put and creates long-lasting vibrant color. Follow by layering the golden neutral shades. To keep the look from becoming too dark I suggest applying a highlighting illuminator on the inside lid for added sparkle and shine. Finish the look by adding some sexy sparkle to your eyes.
HAIR
To perfect the voluminous, polished styles from the runway you will need a volumizing shampoo, follow it up with some volumizing conditioner.
Next, blot your hair and apply a light weight mousse and blow dry. Once your hair is about 80% dry, start using a big round brush (the bigger the better!) to lift your hair up and out while continuing to dry. The next step is to roll your hair into large Velcro rollers. This may seem old fashion, but there is a reason that rollers have been around so long- they work! Rollers provide even more lift at the root while keeping hair smooth and natural looking. Once the rollers are out, add just a few more waves and curls with a large barrel curling iron. The final step? Add a little bit of spray for texture and a light mist of flexible hold hair spray. Viola! Bombshell hair suited for the runway… Or your big day!
