Viva Brazil!

Have you ever wondered why Brazilian women are considered some of the most attractive women in the world? If you thought it’s only about the looks, you’re wrong. It’s not just about those gorgeous genes, artistically applied makeup adds to their allure. Here’s how to steal their most smoldering makeup looks.

Brazilian brides know a thing or two about turning heads (and breaking hearts)—they are some of the sexiest women in the world, after all.

You need more than the flush of newlywed love and a spot of foundation to get that ‘just married’ glow… For the cheeks, use bronzer on contour of the face to bring out your features and then apply a light sweep of soft pink or coral on the apple of the cheeks to bring everything together.  It takes a certain kind of woman—specifically, the smoking hot kind—to get away with eyelids dripping in deeper-toned shadows.  The trick is to take a black pencil, cream liner, and powder shadow and trace the lashes with the pencil and cream liner, smudge the lines gently with a dome brush, and then swipe black cream and powder shadows from the lids to the crease, brusquely blending as you go.

Creating the soft, sensual look that trendy Brazilian brides love takes restraint, grace, and the ineffable ability to make it look like you didn’t fuss for hours over every last detail.

For those intimidated by heavy smoky eyes, this softer version delivers the same sultry effect.

  • Line the inner rims with black or brown liner, then smudge along the top outer corners.
  • Apply a wash of champagne across the lids and blend.
  • Using the same shadow, line the lower lashes and place a dot at the inner corners to instantly brighten up eyes.
  • Individual false lashes placed at the outer corners finish off this soft, sensual look.
  • To steal her just-bitten look, first exfoliate lips with a scrub.
  • Then apply a soft, rosy lipstick.
  • Make sure you blend well and blot with a tissue so the color doesn’t look too heavy before topping with a clear gloss.
