Learning how to create a photo ready makeup look is a valuable skill that will empower your beauty and self confidence on your big day and any other time you want to create a special look for your self.

There are few things that you must know:

• Most women think they know how to do their own makeup. They'll do it every day and they'll think it looks good. But what you see face-to-face and what the camera reads are two different things. Hiring someone with a professional makeup background who understands how makeup reads in a photograph is an advantage. As a 20 year veteran in professional bridal makeup artistry education and training. I have immense experience and deep passion for teaching the skills and techniques needed to achieve photography ready, flawless, bridal makeup. Today I want to share my expertise with brides that would like to learn how to do their own makeup for their destination weddings and still achieve professional results.
  
  
• First of all I must say that having a professional makeup artist do your makeup on your wedding day is less stressful but...If you do have the option of hiring a local professional makeup artist then; remember to bring your makeup with you. And bring two shades of base — one that matches your skin tone now, and one that is one shade darker. After a few days in the sun, the makeup artist may need to blend the two in order to match your tanned skin tone. Even if a makeup artist says she has her own makeup — BRING YOUR OWN. You don't want to chance the chance that your skin may break out from the make up that they use.
  
  
• Go for it. If you absolutely know that there is a dependable, professional makeup artist at the resort of your destination wedding that you can trust to create your bridal look for one of the most photographed days of your life.
  
  
• Or, better yet, if you can bring in a make up artist from back home that you have had a trial run with and can afford you can this luxury of paying the service, the travel and expenses; go for it. But when you can't trust the resort make-up artist or can't afford to bring the professional from back home, doing your own make up gives you flexibility and peace of mind.
  
  
• And last but, not least, you will get what you paid for.

I have designed a Destination Bridal Makeup Workshop that will introduce makeup techniques needed to achieve a flawless bridal look. Brides will learn modern tips and tricks to easily create classic, blushing and sultry bridal looks. Bridal Makeover by The Art of Beauty by Aradia is one of the only bridal beauty services that is backed by the largest fashion photography studios in South Florida.

All of the products that I use are photo studio tested and developed with photography in mind, therefore are ideal to use for bridal makeup.

This workshop promises to be an evening of relaxed enjoyment in the build up to an exciting wedding. As they learn how to skillfully select and apply the right colors and products to achieve any desired makeup look as well as tips and techniques to ensure that their makeup always looks beautiful, and more importantly, lasts all day, your brides are going to Immerse themselves in a day of artistry and fun!

My Bridal Makeup Artistry Workshop is also ideal for the whole bridal party as well. It is a great way for brides going away to be married or for those just wanting to do there own make up. The class is tailored to each bride and the look she will want for her big day. I will devise a look for each bridesmaid and of course the mother of the bride & groom.

"Beauty for the Bride on the Go"

These workshop lessons taught by Aradia are perfect for all destination brides who want to learn step by step how to apply a flawless bridal look for their big day! After a series of questions, together you will decide upon the perfect bridal look for you & your event. You will then practice the look as Aradia guides you along, showing you the best techniques that will help accentuate and highlight your best features in order to achieve the beauty you’re envisioning. All the makeup and brushes will be provided for you at your lesson so there is no need to run out and buy new items until you know what you’ll need. After you feel comfortable applying your look, everything will be drawn out for you on a face chart so you can recreate the look on your wedding day and not have to go by memory. You will also receive complimentary pictures from your lesson so you will have those to go by as well. This will allow you to practice some more before you leave for your trip. As your lesson wraps up, Aradia will review your current cosmetic bag to see if you have anything similar to what you’ll need for your wedding day bridal look. After discussing your supply budget, together you will then create a shopping list of the missing items you’ll need.

"A Bridal Makeup Journey"

This workshop is perfect for all destination brides, brides on a budget, professionals who work under tricky lighting (doctors, nurses, teachers, office professionals etc…), and anyone who wants to learn how to achieve a perfect “look” everyday! Not only will this class teach you how to apply your makeup flawlessly, but it will also show you how to shop for cosmetics and streamline your current collection of products, no matter the budget. So both you and your makeup bag receive a complete makeover!

What to Expect From Your Journey:

• You will receive help and direction in creating a personalized face chart based on different techniques that will help accentuate your individual coloring, bone structure, lip shape and eye shape. This chart will be ongoing guidance for all your future makeup applications.
  
  
• You will learn the difference between the various lighting environments and how makeup works with (and against) certain lighting. We will discuss what colors will work best in outdoor and natural lighting; different workplaces and florescent lighting; as well as restaurants, wedding venues, and other incandescent lighting situations.
  
  
• We will explore your complimentary colors by looking at eye color, hair color, skin tone, lighting etc...
  
  
• We will review the new and old makeup “rules” and how & when to break them.
  
  
• Practice, Practice, Practice! There will be several breakout practice sessions with a professional there to help you recreate what you’ve learned step by step using everything from makeup brushes, Q-tips and sponges to create a flawless make-up application on any budget.

Learn how to change your look from day to day, day to night, and natural to glamorous.

Learn professional makeup artist tips and tricks regarding color theory, custom blending, and corrective make-up techniques.

You will edit and streamline your makeup bag in class by learning how to shop for makeup, tools, and supplies for any budget. You will also learn how to create and play with color before making new purchases.

You will also receive the secrets to a 5 minute fun and flawless make-up application, along with a list of Aradia's favorite products!

Makeup Class Terms

To keep the class intimate and to insure that everyone gets the attention they deserve, only a maximum of 10 ladies can be accepted.
